I am, same as lot of other people, became hostages of a situation where Covid reigns and ask us, if there will be tomorrow? Do you have health to be strong both physically and mentally? it takes not only hopes, but also lives. The priorities of values have changed, where the mission of each person remains to Survive. But will we save our humanity?

Year of changes

We were locked up with ourselves. We stayed in the company of our own reflection. Lonely. Previously – moral, now physical. When it became valuable just to touch, to hug … With paints on the skin, colorful drops of the memory of touches. About the days when you could breathe calmly. Time to realize happiness and what is really value and self-acceptance.

Scream

We hide under masks ourselves. We shout under the masks. From fear, loneliness, pain. Before our masks were smiles, now – nylon and cellulose. But one thing is invariable – we are hiding in order to save, not to infect, not to hurt. But in our souls we scream, because it’s scary, and we have no more strength. A scream that no one will hear, hidden under the mask.

Together at a distance

Touch without touching. Now together only our Souls. Physical we have nothing. Contactless. Just an Imitation of presence, digital copies. Data stream and voice on the other end of the phone. Do you remember how it was before? Do you remember how warm our palms were while holding together? Please be okay, I’ll wait. My soul is near.

City of hopes

Nothing is allowed, only to remain in voluntary confinement. Fear became the basis of everything. There is no kind “hello”, no warm hugs. The virus has penetrated into our very essence, into our very consciousness. He takes the lives of everyone. All that remains is the belief that someday the sun will come again and it will be warm again. That again it will be possible to be and see the world, not hidden behind masks. Smell the flowers instead of the antiseptic. It is a city of hope built on bones.
