During the pandemic, I started creating more paintings. Since exhibitions and all cultural events are closed, transport does not work, I am in my city all the time. I walk in the woods and paint. Fewer factors distract me from work.
As soon as the pandemic began, our faces changed: we all put on masks! This attribute of safety is so often found on our face that it has become a part of the body, adhered to our ears, pressed into the skin. After the pandemic, we will not be the same, we will always remember the TRACE(SLED) left by Covid-19.

I am currently working on the series “Former Dedicated”, in which I pay attention to the social aspect in relationships, the peculiarities of the psychological state and recovery of women after a break.. All paintings are created from a real photo for a project or from an archive photo of a couple. The plot of the paintings is a nude selfie for her ex, symbolizing the rash harsh actions of women, as a reaction to the pain of parting. Each painting has its own story of love and breakup. The heroines of the paintings told the peculiarities of the former relationship, shared their reckless actions in moments of despair and how they returned to normal existence from critical conditions. I create paintings in black and white so as not to distract the viewer from the main message. The heroine of this painting is an artist who broke up with her ex-boyfriend and the only thing that helped her to numb the pain was acupuncture sessions.
