The pandemic has made its adjustments in our lives. We hide behind concrete walls, hoping that trouble will not come to our house. But the prospects are far from bright …

As soon as the pandemic comes, I took my family, and leave Kyiv…
As soon as the pandemic comes, I took my family, and leave Kyiv. We went to the little town, where I was born. The pandemic laughed and grew numb at the same time. A pandemic limits our capabilities. That is why I principle decided to work with materials which I was found, not buying. All materials of the series “Rainbow Perspectives”, was found on the street, near our house – wooden planks, parts of the parkan, flowers, metal caps and buttles.
All this was like a game. When I start the work, I did not know, how it is looks when I finished it. I didn’t trim the hammer at the hand. But I wanted to work with wood. It was a new experience and interesting adventure!
When I started creating the work “Our Faults. House with a Crown”, I fell ill Covid19 After a difficult treatment, I recovered and with great passion began to complete this work. It has acquired a special meaning for me.

Work from the series “Rainbow Perspectives” created in the technique of levkas during the pandemic. My attempt to convey the invoice of time. The works have a “flat perspective”. It seems to exist, but remains in the same plane, which conveys constancy, hopelessness, despair. The pandemic has made its adjustments in our lives. We hide behind concrete walls, hoping that trouble will not come to our house. But the prospects are far from bright …
This work depicts my hometown, where my friends and relatives are hiding during a pandemic.
