I spent the whole of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 in a foreign country as, due to the closure of borders, I could not return.

I fell ill with covid and all experience, worries, fear embodied i transferred in my works. The questions that interested in that period me formed the basis of my work. In my work, I began to focus more on emotions, experimenting more with technique, color and shape. My art has become more personal.

While working on the creation of the artwork “Statistics”, I thought that sooner or later we get into the reports on statistics on the pandemic.

It must be remembered that behind the numbers are people, their lives and destinies.

That these are not just numbers, but that these are the lives of people. Everyone need to keep your humanity.

The work was done in monotype technique with the addition of linocut.
