Zagreb, Croatia. Multidisciplinary.
…spending much of my time in a room, in front of computer, I am accustomed to spending hours and hours indoors.

As an artist working a lot with net.art, thus spending much of my time in a room, in front of computer, I am accustomed to spending hours and hours indoors. That is what I wanted to, not that I had to. But, alas..
In the age of Covid confinement, as an artist, I continued my practice, multidisciplinary, in my home studio.
What was supposed to be the adventure of my life, an art residence in the north of Brazil, above Manaus, did not happen. A year earlier, when I was offered this residence in which narratives for the current rural / ecological universe can be created through contemporary art, I was hesitant at first. And then, when residency couldn’t materialize, that was the only thing I thought about.
Thus, at the time of that first period of self-isolation, I returned to my roots, painting, painting medium and large formats. Stroke by stroke, a whole rainforest of dense green outlines and surfaces flowed out of me. I then continued my multimedia practice, digitizing and animating those images into a series I call ‘very slow images’.
I dream, breathe and live in Amazonian rainforest (in my head).
