Born 1996 in Dnipro, Ukraine.

Lockdown actually does not bother me, I walk, the distance is short. However, it influenced the choice of the topic for work, the comprehension of what is happening now.

The time of the pandemic and the quarantine affected me in their own way: at first, I painted in the room where I lived. After a while, I realized that it was very inconvenient, realized how important it is to separate space for painting and for rest, I began to look for a solution to this problem.

In the fall, I began to rent a workshop at the Kyiv Institute of Automation. It is an old building with low rents and rich history. Perhaps this is what attracts artists – there are more and more workshops at the institute, open days are being held. Having made some minor repairs in the new workshop, started working on a new series. Having a workshop made everything very easy.

I was really impressed by the unusual sight of empty buses and bus stops, and especially empty trains and platforms in underground. Usually busy with crowds, now they stand almost deserted and still, and can be appreciated in their own beauty.

Final station 2. 2020, canvas, acrylic, paint spray, silkscreen, 100×150 cm.
