Spring … In the spring of 2020, the Corona virus burst into our usual life. But the spring outside the window remained as familiar and joyful as always. Nature, the weather distracts us from the severe trials of the pandemic and gives us hope for a better life than now.

Immunity is what our body produces when it encounters a virus. We also gradually develop immunity against the current situation due to the pandemic and learn to live in new circumstances.

We learn to survive, as many are deprived of work at lockdowns and the present life is not at all like the previous one. what is still ahead of us?

The coronavirus influenced me a lot, I lost my small business. But in the first wave of lockdown, in the absence of work, I completely devoted myself to creativity. I drew constantly, caught a great wave of creativity and inspiration, took part in various large projects dedicated to the coronavirus. I felt very full. Later, at the end of autumn, some interesting projects ended, and my enthusiasm dropped. I plunged into some kind of a sluggish state, got sick with coronavirus … lost heart … And now this project again gives hope to rejoice, to feel significant and needed, I hope so.

I participated during the pandemic in such projects: Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art Korsakov in Lutsk. “Immunity” Polyptych of 4 paintings “Seasons. Plague. COVID-19.” 2 paintings remained in the collection of the Korskov Museum. Museum of the city of Kiev project “One day after …” with the picture “Ukrainian Woman of the Future”, the picture remained in the collection of the museum. Sansara: III Ukrainian Contemporary Womans Art Fest, my work “Plague” Personal virtual exhibition with works made during the first wave of lockdown “Bihind the scenes” 23.10.20-19.11.20 in Slovenia, at Art Gallery 514 published in the prestigious English-language catalog “Painting and graphics”

A transparent essence, this can be said to most people in this world, especially women. The female essence is more exposed to neglect, violence, dismissal; during the pandemic, many women were subjected to domestic violence while in quarantine. This work was written in support of women of color especially and domestic violence.
