Regarding the topic of the pandemic itself, it did not affect the choice of plots…

I equipped half of the room as a studio, but apart from that, I found a bicycle to go to my real studio. Regarding the topic of the pandemic itself, it did not affect the choice of plots, I am not going to do trendy things, because it is vulgar.

Even before the pandemic, I did not have time to see the world often, because I constantly work, but sometimes there are not enough concerts or get-togethers in the bar.

Among other things, during the pandemic, I still managed to take part in offline exhibitions, move abroad and travel around Europe, so for me the pandemic is very successful 🙂

Memory of the first impression of the metro.

Telephone booth, Bohdan Sokur, 105x150cm, oil on canvas, 2020

The telephone booth is one of my first Kyiv memories. In my hometown in the nineties, few people had a phone. My mother and I used a street payphone without a boonce once a day, when we called our father at work, announcing that we were going to pick him up from work. But when we moved to Kyiv, I saw payphones in the booths. This impressed me greatly as the booth symbolized privacy and importance of what was happening.
