The coronavirus has shut me down at home. Work, study – in the apartment. But most of all I was hurt by the general panic (most often unreasonable).
Lots of false information. For a long time, people did not understand how viruses work, how drugs work. Is the coronavirus transmitted by fruit? Can you get infected just by visiting the room where the person was? People do not know anything about the microcosm.
The pandemic opened my eyes to how little people know about what is happening inside us and how microorganisms work. And how little the average citizen knows even from what mankind knows. Last year, the same epic has been happening with vaccines. What is true and what is false? How do vaccines work and how does immunity work? Society absorbs a lot of information and news every day, but are people interested in something that is literally inside themselves?
Thoughts about the arrangement of the microcosm and our little knowledge about it led me to the need to express the beauty and uniqueness of the world of microorganisms.
Quarantine gave me an excellent opportunity to delve into this topic myself, given that studying in such a specialty gives me many opportunities to deepen my knowledge.
I studied and could not help but be surprised at my new discoveries. In my works, I mainly convey visual beauty and try to touch the viewer and evoke in him associations with molecules and microorganisms. Behind this whole pandemic lie small but destructive processes within ourselves. Perhaps my work will interest someone to learn more about what immunity is, what vaccines, leukocytes and erythrocytes are.
