Being an artist is very cool and very difficult. Cool, because there are no obstacles in front of you – only surfaces on which you create new worlds. And these worlds live according to the laws of your soul. It is difficult, because the viewer gets used to you in one role and it can be hard for him to accept your changes. And where without them, if being an artist is like sitting with a psychotherapist to dig deeper and deeper in search of an answer to the question “who are you, what are you about?” Now I’m working on a series that strains 98% of my average viewers, scares them, makes them want to turn away. The viewer sees the strange, interpreting it as scary, gloomy. But there is no darkness. On the contrary, these pictures are a way out of a prolonged creative pause, which I was put on. Now the vacuum packaging broke through and air rushed to me, and important discoveries and revelations rushed out of my soul.
